“Haven’t you felt it? The loss of autonomy. The sense of being virtualized. The devices you use, the ones you carry everywhere, room to room, minute to minute, inescapably. Do you ever feel unfleshed? All the coded impulses you depend on to guide you. All the sensors in the room are watching you, listening to you, tracking your habits, measuring your capabilities. All the linked data designed to incorporate you into the megadata. Is there something that makes you uneasy? Do you think about the technovirus, all systems down, global implosion? Or is it more personal? Do you feel steeped in some horrific digital panic that’s everywhere and nowhere?”

“I am learning to love the sound of my feet walking away from things not meant for me.”

2018 was the year of realization. You learned so much this year, both about yourself and the world around you. You saw how you react to failures, how you overcome challenges you never thought you could. You realized what kind of people you need around you, and what you can do best to help them. Maybe you also, finally, found what ignites you - found your passion, set some new goals, or maybe took up a new exciting hobby. So much changed this year, so many happy and sad days, a year that really left its mark. It’s up to you to learn from these lessons, to apply everything this year gave you, the good and the bad, to make 2019 the best year it can be. While 2018 was about change, 2019 will be about manifestation. Of your wishes, of your growth, of your potential and your happiness.
